Resilience is one’s ability to bounce back from a negative experience and regain functional competency quickly. Resilience is our ability to adapt successfully in the face of stress and adversity. Resiliency helps people stay focused under pressure and make better decisions. Resiliency is the key to coping with change. The very essence of resiliency is adaptability. 

By attending this session, you will:

  2. Recognize the four stages of transition 
  3. Identify the thirteen mistakes we make when facing transition 
  4. Consider thirteen new work behaviors to become a quick-change artist 
  5. Learn what it takes to be resilient

About Kit Welchlin

Kit has presented to the MWCCA Organization many times over the years. Each time Kit has delivered an impactful presentation, involving our practitioners in break out and group discussions. Each person has left the discussions with ideas to implement to develop themselves or support their teams. Please join us on in Kit’s final tour with us.

Kit Welchlin purchased his first manufacturing company at age 21, and by 26 was CEO and Chairman of the Board of three manufacturing companies in three states. He’s been an instructor with the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, where he has been repeatedly nominated Outstanding Faculty. 

Kit is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association and has a B.S. Degree in Speech Communication, Business Administration and Political Science. He earned an M.A. Degree in Speech Communication and Business Administration.

In 2018, Kit earned the Certified Speaking Professional designation from the National Speakers Association. In 2020, Kit earned the Certified Virtual Presenter designation from eSpeakers.

Once you turn into the campus, you will be facing the complex. Turn left at the T-intersection. Please park near the second set of stairs. Take the second set of stairs up from the parking lot to the center Building F, which is the main guest entry for the campus. A statue of Al Schuman is outside the main entrance. Please check in with the receptionist upon arrival.
